Booking Essentials

Minimum Rental: 2-hour minimum for all studio sessions
Deposits: Required to secure your booking. Deposit amount will be communicated during booking process.
Non-Refundable: All rental bookings are non-refundable. No exceptions.
Time Slots: Your rental starts and ends at your exact booked time. There is no buffer time between clients. You must be completely cleaned up and ready to exit at your end time.
Overtime Fees: Sessions running over will be charged $50 per 10-minute increment to the card on file.

-Climate-controlled environment
-Basic props positioned in each set
-Changing area with mirrorAvailable Add-Ons (Must be pre-booked):-Wardrobe collections (robes, lingerie, gowns and other available costume pieces)
-Specialty lighting equipment and lens filters
-Premium luxury props
-Extended time beyond 2-hour minimumAll add-ons must be selected during booking. Day-of additions are not available.

Set Care

Shoe Covers: Upon entering the studio, put on the complimentary shoe covers provided. These must stay on for the duration of your rental period. If you need to go outside, remove covers and put them back on when re-entering. Only talent may wear shoes on sets, and they must be clean to protect our vintage pieces.
Prohibited Items: Absolutely no glitter, confetti, loose sparkles, open flames, smoke bombs, marijuana, alcohol, pets, or steamer/iron usage. Violations result in a $100-200 fee depending on the item.
Large Furniture: NEVER move large furniture pieces including couches, vanity, premium props, or mantle. These are positioned for both aesthetic and safety reasons.
Approved Moving: Small props may be repositioned only if outlined in the reference card provided for each set. All moving must be done by lifting - NO dragging to protect vintage pieces and floors.
Set Layout: Please maintain original positioning of all set pieces. Reference photos and moving guidelines provided in each set area.
Damage Responsibility: Client is responsible for any damage during rental period. Damage/replacement fees range up to $400+ depending on the item.

Equipment Details

Lighting: Studio lighting is available for your rental and will be positioned near the paper backdrop section. When your rental time is concluded, please return to original setup.
Electrical: Use only designated outlets. Do not overload circuits.
Personal Equipment: You're welcome to bring your own gear. Studio is not responsible for personal equipment.
Security: Always ensure the front door clicks locked when entering AND exiting the space. Leaving the door unlocked results in a $100 security fee.
Missing Items: Do not remove any studio items. Missing items result in a minimum $100 fee or equivalent replacement cost.

Before You Leave

Checkout Checklist:-Return all props to original positions (reference photos provided)
-Remove all personal items and trash
-Turn off all lights and unplug all electrical items used.
Complete checkout checklist by the doorFood & Beverage Policy: Only water is permitted in the studio. Any food or other beverages found will result in a $100 fee charged to the card on file.
Cleanliness Standards: If trash is left behind or the studio is left dirty, a $300 deep cleaning fee will be charged to the card on file.

Safety First

Liability Agreement: By booking the studio, you accept full liability and agree to these terms. The Velvet Kitten Studio is not responsible for personal injuries, illnesses, or property damage that occurs during your rental period.
Safety: Report any hazards or damages immediately.
Insurance: Business photography insurance strongly recommended for professional shoots.
Supervision: All minors must be accompanied by parent/guardian at all times.
Content Restrictions: No sexually explicit content or pornography may be filmed on the property. Boudoir photography is perfectly welcome.
Security Cameras: Please note we have security cameras at the entrance and storage areas for safety. These do not face any shooting spaces and are for property protection only.

Show Off Your Artistry

Your Content: All photos/videos created during your session belong to you.
Tag Us: We'd love to feature your amazing work! Tag us @officialvelvetkitten for a chance to be featured on our Instagram.
Marketing Use: Occasionally we may request permission to use client photos for marketing. This is always optional and with full credit.
